Note from the Authors

In recent years, New Atheists like Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, and the late Christopher Hitchens have written extensively and debated vigorously on behalf of their worldview. As a result, they have exerted an influence on society that has created a climate of doubt among believers, especially younger Christians. Many believers are facing arguments that they are not equipped to handle, and their appeals to biblical authority are met with mockery and scorn. What is needed are tools for dealing with contemporary attacks on Christianity in order to reassure believers of the truth of biblical faith and teach them how to meet attacks on biblical Christianity head-on with effective and thoughtful responses. We wrote this book to provide such a tool.

In my mind there’s always enough room for another book that tackles the tough questions that challenge our faith. Unlike other similar books, editors Dennis Moles and Ryan Whitson have assembled a group of scholarly yet highly relevant responses to these age-old problems. Thanks to them for another great resource to bolster our faith!
