DQ was 40 years old when he finally gave himself to God. Beth, 13 years younger, was 27, and all they knew was being hardcore bikers. This lifestyle had taken them through a hell filled with alcohol, drugs, and violence. To save their marriage, they turned to Jesus, but had no clue of the journey He had planned for them, a journey that would take them back to the very places that had been part of their downfall. It was an opportunity to redeem through Jesus the many friend who were still lost and without hope. It would be a journey fraught with pain, trials, and hardships. They would either come out victorious for God or they would lose everything, including what they valued most, each other.
About the Author
Beth A. Mangus Roberts is the co-founder of Christian Riders Ministry. She is a missionary and nationally known inspirational speaker and biker. Her passion for Jesus is evident in all she does. She spends about 30 weeks a year on the road to attend motorcycle events as well as to speak at churches, retreats, and other events. When not traveling, she resides in North Carolina with her beloved Shetland Sheepdogs. Beth enjoys training and showing her dogs, as well as gardening and antiques.

This is a story of how God worked in the lives of two Christians who – after escaping a life of sin and heartbreak and being made completely new in Christ – dared to lay everything at His feet. This is about how God gave them a passion for the lost. It is about how God called them to go back to the very place they had escaped but with new eyes, new hearts. It is about the fears, challenges, and temptations they faced and how they overcame them with God’s help. And it is about The Lord’s miraculous provision as they obediently followed His lead AFTER they came to Christ. It is about what happens when you say, “Here I am. Send me.”
Two Wheels A’Blazing reads as easily as sitting down to have dinner with Beth as she recounts the adventures of her first year on the mission field with DQ. It is exciting as we hear about all that God has done through them. It is relatable as Beth shares her fears and struggles. It is challenging as we watch them mature in Christ.
