Life’s biggest decisions deserve more than your best guess.
Who should you date? What should you do after high school? How can you make your paycheck last longer than the weekend? And where does God fit into all of it?
The choices you make today are shaping your future. In Life on Purpose, Dr. Phil Green helps teens and young adults think through ten decisions that can change their lives for the better. Drawing on the wisdom of Proverbs, he brings together engaging stories, a dose of humor, and practical biblical guidance for the questions that come with growing up.
Discover how to:
- Know God through Jesus Christ and walk with Him in everyday life.
- Make wise decisions when the next step feels uncertain.
- Find hope when anxiety, disappointment, or depression weigh you down.
- Navigate dating and sexual temptation while honoring God’s design for marriage.
- Choose good friends, strengthen your relationship with your parents, and resolve conflict with honesty and forgiveness.
- Work with purpose and handle money wisely through generosity, saving, and responsible spending.
Along the way, you’ll see how God’s wisdom applies to ordinary situations – from a disagreement with a friend, to a tempting purchase, or a relationship that needs boundaries. You’ll also discover the grace and forgiveness offered to you through Christ when you’ve already made wrong choices you now regret.
Questions for reflection and discussion help you put each chapter into practice, whether you’re reading on your own, talking with your family, or studying in a group setting.
A life lived on purpose begins with knowing the One who gave it to you.
